First blood in the war of words may have gone to Molitor, who dismissed his opponent as never having faced anyone on his level before.
But Frampton came back swinging.
"He doesn't know how hard I've trained for this, how long I have been away from my family," Frampton told UTV.
"I'm going to take it out on this guy come Saturday night and I hope he's been training hard because if he hasn't ... this could finish early."
Frampton had been due to take on Kiko Martinez for his European title, but he pulled out well in advance of Saturday's scheduled bout at the Odyssey due to injury.
"I'm a massive step up from Martinez," Molitor warned.
"He's European level and I'm World level and come fight night everyone will realise that. This is too soon for Frampton. He's a good boxer, very aggressive - but he makes a lot of mistakes that I plan on capitalising on.
"The plan is to win convincingly here against a young undefeated prospect and that will put me in line for a World title."
Frampton is confident his undefeated record will stand him in good stead though, as he puts his Inter-Continental and Commonwealth titles on the line.
"Molitor is a proven world class fighter, he has been world champion twice before and he is coming here to win," he admitted.
"He sees me as not having been tested yet, not having boxed anyone in his league yet - which is true. I haven't boxed anyone in his league, but this is where I prove I am world class."
On the undercard, Dungiven's Paul McCloskey will take on Manuel Perez in a bid to get his World light welterweight title dreams back on track after his shock defeat to DeMarcus Corley in May.
Belfast's Martin Lindsay will also challenges Lee Selby for the Welshman's featherweight titles, while Dungiven's Eamonn O'Kane will be in action and fellow Commonwealth Games gold medallist Paddy Gallagher is set for his professional debut.
