Ulster Rugby will be looking to put the disappointment of their Heineken Cup quarter-final defeat at the hands of Saracens behind them, when they line out against Connacht in PRO12 action.

The sides will meet at Ravenhill on Friday evening, with Tommy Bowe named to start at outside-centre for Ulster - joined in midfield by Luke Marshall, making his 50th appearance.

Jared Payne will be missing due to the two-week suspension he was handed over his red card just five minutes into the clash with the Sarries at the weekend, with Ricky Andrew his replacement.

Andrew Trimble will be fit to play after suffering a concussion in the same game and is named to start on the right wing.

Ulster coach Mark Anscombe said: "We can't do anything about what's happened - that's done, that's dusted, it's history. What we can do is still control how we go about the rest of the season."

Kick-off at Ravenhill is at 7.05pm.

Replacements (16-23): N Annett, T Court, A Macklin, L Stevenson, S Doyle, M Heaney, J McKinney, S McCloskey.
