Tyrone lost their 100% record for the season as they fell to their first defeat of the National League Division One campaign with a 0-14 to 0-8 loss by Cork at Healy Park on Sunday.

Cork led by double scores 0-8 to 0-4 at half time and stretched their lead after the break to run out comfortable winners against an under par Tyrone side.

All Ireland champions Donegal gave their hopes of avoiding relegation a boost when they defeated Kerry 1-12 to 0-5 in Ballybofey.

Michael Murphy, who was sent off and missed a penalty against Tyrone a week earlier, more than made up for his misdemeanours.

The Donegal captain scored a penalty in the first half and finished with a personal tally of 1-5.

In Division Three, Antrim returned from Aughrim with a share of the spoils from a draw with Wicklow.

Tomas got the Antrim goal as it finished 2-7 to 1-10.

Meanwhile, Down earned the first points of their division One campaign with an excellent two-point defeat of Mayo at Páirc Esler in Newry on Saturday night.

The Mourne men produced their best performance of the season to date to secure a 0-13 to 0-11 victory.

Derry moved to the top of Division Two of the Allianz Football League following a dramatic 0-16 to 0-16 draw with Armagh at Celtic Park, also on Saturday night.

Elsewhere Antrim's hurlers fell to their second defeat of the campaign losing 3-12 to 1-10 against Dublin at Casement Park on Sunday.

The Dubs were well ahead at the break as they led 2-7 to 0-5 but, helped by a goal from Stephen Beattie, the Saffrons performed better in the second half.
