Paul Marshall was left out of the original 31 man squad last week, but on Monday it was revealed the Belfast Harlequins player will join ten of his Ulster teammates in the original panel.
Declan Fitzpatrick was also named alongside Craig Gilroy and Paddy Jackson, who could make their first appearance for the Ireland side.
The additions have been made because of injuries picked up by several players at the weekend, including Ulster's Rory Best.
Tommy Bowe, Darren Cave, Tom Court, Stephen Ferris, Iain Henderson, Chris Henry, Luke Marshall, Andrew Trimble and Dan Tuohy have already been selected for the squad.
Ireland start the series against South Africa on 10 November.
