After a scoreless first half Dominic Mooney opened the scoring for St Patrick's four minutes after the break when he scored from close range.
Michael Johnson, who had come on as a substitute, then scored with a free kick.
Johnson then sealed the win with a tremendous third goal that was fit to win any final, as he fired home a stunning shot from all of 35 yards.
That third goal ensured they defeated St Malachy's by the same scoreline as they had in the 2012 final.
