Player of the match, Julie Morrow hit the only goal in the fifth minute of the first half of extra time from a penalty corner to send Lurgan into jubilant celebrations.

The college created the majority of opportunities during the game but the Rainey defence and keeper Rebecca Allen kept Lurgan at bay on each occasion.

Rainey created their own chances following good build up play from Kirsty McLarnon and Robyn Chambers but the threat was diminished by Naomi Costley in the Lurgan goal.

The victors go on to represent Ulster at the Kate Russell all-Ireland tournament later this month in Leinster.
