The group game against the Portuguese side kicks off the Hoops' first campaign in Europe's premier club competition since the 2008-09 season.
It won't be easy for the Scottish champions, who face a tough draw in Group G which also includes Barcelona and Spartak Moscow.
However midfielder Kris Commons said just qualifying has been a "dream come true".
He explained: "Every single player in our squad is going to have to play at the top of their game for probably 93 or 94 minute.
"For us it is just vitally important that we do get off to a good start and just see where this journey takes us, it's kind of a dream come true for a lot of boys in this dressing room."
The game kicks off at 7.45pm on Wednesday.
