Legends take charge at Crossmaglen

Crossmaglen Rangers' legends Oisin McConville and John McEntee have taken charge of the club's senior team following Joe Kernan's departure.

Both players have been instrumental for the club during its unprecedented success over the years.

As well as numerous titles to his name McEntee was a former captain of the side.

Both have won All-Ireland titles and McConville was a member of the team which won 13 Armagh titles in a row.

As part of the new management team the club also welcomed back Seamie McGeown as team trainer.

In a statement the club said: "Over recent weeks club officials have been working to secure new management and we are delighted to announce that Oisin McConville and John McEntee will be taking over the mantle of senior team management for the incoming season.

"Oisin and John have given many years of dedicated service as players to club and county at the highest level of the game and will bring a vast amount of experience and expertise with them to the job.

"We are also delighted to welcome back Seamie McGeown to complete the management team.

"We are very fortunate to have such talented and committed personnel within our club willing to take on with the job of managing our senior team.

"We wish them every success in their endeavours as we look forward to another new era in the club and a successful 2014 campaign."
