Omagh notched the final's first goal when Conan McElduff found the back of the net to help put CBS ahead by a goal and five points, to six points at half time.

Holders St Pat's got back into the game after the break, with Sean Convery hitting five unanswered points.

The major talking point of the game came when Danny Tallon scored St Patrick's first goal of the game.

The forward bounced the ball twice before his goal bound effort was saved. However, he fired home at the second effort to give the Maghera side the advantage.

St Pat's were never troubled in the closing stages and saw out the game to win it by four points and win the school's 14th MacRory Cup title on St Patrick's Day.
