Belfast's Carl Frampton can get a world title fight and bring the belt home, according to former world champion Ricky 'Hitman' Hatton - as long as he "does the business" this Saturday night.

Frampton will go head-to-head with Mexican Hugo Cazáres at the Odyssey Arena at the weekend in their WBC Final Eliminator, with the pair taking part in a public training session on Tuesday.

Speaking to UTV at Victoria Square, Hatton hailed the Tiger's Bay fighter as potentially one of boxing's greats.

"And he's a nice guy," he added.

"In boxing, there are so many loudmouths - it's nice to see a humble guy doing the business on the world stage at the highest level."

But in order to get a shot at the super-bantamweight belt of current holder Léo Santa Cruz, Frampton has to get through Cazáres.

But the Belfast boxer is counting on the home advantage and the boost from a crowd keen to see him take the win.

"I'm walking round the town and people are shaking my hand, patting me on the back ... Everyone wants me to win," Frampton told UTV.

Despite Cazáres already having held a world title and also benefitting from more experience, at nearly 10 years Frampton's senior, the Jackal definitely means business.

"I'm younger, fresher and stronger - I think pace is what's going to kill this guy ..." he said.
