Frampton will go toe-to-toe with Kiko Martinez at a purpose-built stadium for the IBF super-bantamweight title.

Last year Frampton was the first boxer to knock out Martinez when he took the European title off him in February.

His trainer, McGuigan, says the boxer has what it takes to take the world by storm.

At a special training session at Victoria Square in Belfast on Wednesday, both boxers were put through their paces for the watching public.

Former featherweight champion McGuigan told UTV: "It will be a hell of a fight."

There is a fine line between confidence and arrogance and Carl has the right mix to win. He knows what's on the line.

Barry McGuigan

"We know Martinez comes here focused and wants to win and completely believes he can.

"Carl has been training the best he has ever trained and we are prepared for every angle.

"But Carl is convinced he will win. It will be an acid test for him.

"For the fans it will be a fantastic fight - it can't be anything else."

McGuigan added: "Carl has the calm assurance of a champion.

"People always talk about the similarities between the two of us, but we are very different both in personality and stylistically.

"Carl has worked well and slowly and surely he is moving his way up and on Saturday he will be a world champion.

"I'm convinced he will win and win it dramatically."

This is going to be a great fight, if its anything like the last one, only thing i would complain about is the unknown under card. That does not mean its a bad under card in terms of intertainment, but as the tickets are so costly barry should take a look at the huge bills Eddie hearns puts on that are full of big names. That being said, carl should win late on with a tko
