Co Tyrone boxer Conrad Cummings has become the second local boxer to team up with legend Barry McGuigan and his Cyclone Promotions' team.

The team, which boasts Carl 'The Jackal' Fampton as its other star talent, was delighted to unveil 22-year-old Cummings from Coalisland as its latest signing.

The Clones Cyclone, McGuigan told UTV: "His style is naturally suited to the pro-game, very aggressive and relentless in his pursuit of victory.

"Conrad Cummings is an exciting and destructive prospect that myself and the team have big, big plans for."

Cummings is expected to make his first professional debut on the next Carl Frampton undercard in Belfast, sometime in early 2014.

Conrad said: "I am ecstatic about turning professional and I am really looking forward to the journey.

"I know I could not be with a better team to help me get to where I want to be, the very top."
