Both have been paired in the second round of the competition which is now in its 94th year.
There are three first round ties - Belfast Royal Academy have been picked to play Lurgan College; Ballyclare High School will play neighbours Antrim Grammar; and Portadown College face Wellington College.
The winners of that tie will face a tough challenge in the second round where Regent House are awaiting.
Ballyclare or Antrim have also been handed a tricky draw having been drawn away to Campbell College.
Commenting on the draw, Mark Cordner, who is the chairman of the Joint School's Committee, said that this year's competition will be a great one for Ulster Hockey.
"This year's Burney Cup will be a fantastic competition as there are so many schools playing an excellent level of hockey in Ulster. I believe this year will be great for the competition."
Round 1 games are due to be played on or before the 1 February.
The second round is scheduled for the 15 February.
