While speculation has been rife, season ticket holders will find out first as the new coach is set to attend a fan event next Monday.

Adey's shock departure came at the end of a mixed season for the Belfast side, after the Giants topped the league in flying form - only to miss out on both the Challenge Cup and the Playoffs title.

Ahead of the new coach's unveiling, the signings to rebuild the team are continuing.

General Manager Todd Kelman had previously told UTV that Darryl Lloyd would be back in teal for another year and he has now officially put pen to paper, alongside teammate Mark Garside.

While Lloyd has returned to the US for the summer, Garside is currently in action with Team GB at the World Championships in Lithuania.

Last season, Lloyd racked up 10 goals and 22 points, while Garside netted three goals and 16 points.

Adam Keefe has already signed up to captain the Giants again, also joined in the 2014/15 line-up by early signings Craig Peacock, Kevin Saurette, Colin Shields, Davey Phillips and Evan Cheverie.
