Kevin Saurette opened the scoring and Evan Cheverie doubled the lead to make it 2-0 at the end of the first period.

Guillaume Doucet got a powerplay marker back for the Stingrays, but the Giants then found another gear and further goals from Chris Higgins and Darryl Lloyd plus a brace from Craig Peacock saw them ease to victory.

Next up to play against the Giants is the Nottingham Panthers on Thursday at the Odyssey Arena. Face off is 7pm.
