A woman's body has been discovered in north Belfast.

Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the death of the 30-year-old who was found in the Antrim Road area on Sunday morning.

A spokesperson said: "A post mortem examination will be carried out to determine the cause of death. There are no further details at this stage."

It is understood the woman may have fallen from a window. She was found at around 8.50am and police are currently treating her death as unexplained.

Forensic teams have been carrying out investigations at the scene, close to the New Lodge area.

there seem to be so many murders and deaths in december than any other months. Is it because its near christmas we feel more saddened or notice more. this month alone i have heard and known of more tradagies and deaths than ever before.
