Woman 'critical' after bus exit fall

A 24-year-old woman is in a critical condition in hospital after falling through the rear emergency exit of a school bus in east Belfast.

The incident happened in the Loopland Road area, off the Cregagh Road, on Tuesday at 8.30am.
The woman was rushed to the Royal Victoria Hospital after receiving a suspected fractured skull in the fall.
It is understood she is a teacher at Scoil An Droichid, an Irish language school in south Belfast.
Police are appealing for witnesses to come forward.
The PSNI and the Health and Safety Executive are investigating.
