The court appearance followed the arrest of Suzanne McNicholl, 41, on Thursday evening for breaking six windows in her neighbour's flat.
She admitted using a hammer to smash the windows of her neighbour's flat at Keenaught Terrace in Limavady.
Defence solicitor David Brewster said McNicholl has 24 previous convictions most of them for public order offences.
He added that she has had her own windows smashed fifteen times by various people, one of them she believes to be her next door neighbour.
"She has made several complaints to the police, but regrettably they have not been able to make anyone accountable.
"The latest attack on her home was on Tuesday of this week and she then just snapped after she was provoked by a combination of circumstances", he said.
District Judge Barney McElholm imposed a conditional discharge for two years and said he was declining to make a £100 compensation order for the six smashed windows.
