Warning over icy roads

Police have issued a warning to motorists to exercise extreme caution on some of Northern Ireland's roads on Monday morning due to a dip in temperatures overnight causing icy conditions.

Roads have been affected in the Poyntzpass and Newry areas of Co Down, particularly the Drumbanagher Wall Road.

Meanwhile, due care and attention also needs to be take on the north coast at Mussenden Road, Castlerock; Seacoast Road and Broad Road, Limavady; and Dunhill Road, Coleraine.
