Two of the men, who were pedestrians, are seriously ill following the one vehicle collision on East Bridge Street on Friday evening.

A third man is also being treated and a police spokesman said his injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.

The road remained closed on Friday night and diversions were in place.

Translink say Metro services 4, 6, 18 and 19 operated via Queens Bridge, Short Strand and Albertbridge Road "until further notice".
