'Serious' crash in Larne

Police are at the scene of a "serious" two vehicle collision in Larne, Co Antrim.

The crash happened at Ballywillan Road at around 4.20pm on Wednesday.

One person was taken to Antrim Area Hospital while another was taken to the Royal Victoria Hospital, Belfast.

The road was closed for a time, but has since re-opened.

Meanwhile, in Co Tyrone, there has been a three vehicle collision in Omagh.

It happened on the Beltany Road at around 3.20pm.

One person was taken to the Altnagelvin Hospital, Derry.

The road has now been reopened.
