Mr Quinn, who is wanted by Irish authorities for failing to comply with a high court order, has been missing for more than a week.
However a photograph which appears to show him at a Gaelic football match in Tempo, Co Fermanagh, on Friday night was printed in The Irish Mail on Sunday morning.
He was pictured standing beside his father, a former president of the organisation.
Mr Quinn should be in prison in the Republic of Ireland, alongside Sean Quinn junior, after failing to appear at the High Court in Dublin on 20 July to be sentenced for contempt.
A warrant has been issued for his arrest.
He is now on the run from garda who cannot force him to serve his sentence as he is outside their jurisdiction, and it's a civil matter, not a criminal one.
Meanwhile Sean Quinn junior, his cousin, has already started his time in prison in Dublin for failing to comply with the same court order, as the former Anglo Irish Bank chases the Quinn's international property empire which is estimated to be worth half a billion Euro.
Sean Quinn had been spared prison to try and retrieve some of the assets.
The former tycoon maintains he and his relations can't do anything more to comply with the court's demands.
