Pipe bomb found near Larne PSNI station

Police have confirmed that the suspect object found near a PSNI station in Larne, Co Antrim is a pipe bomb.

The device was found on Hope Street on Saturday morning.

The street, and Circular Road, were closed to traffic but have since reopened.

Further examinations are due to take place on the device.
