A pipe bomb has exploded outside a house in north Belfast.

It happened at a property in the Carlisle Square area on Thursday at around 10.50pm.

Slight damage was caused to a door of the house.

A man in his 20s, who was inside the house, was not injured but left badly shaken.

A motive for the attack has not yet been established by police.

There are no reports of any injuries.

It is the second time the house has been attacked. It was previously targeted last August.

Police are investigating the latest incident.
