A police spokesman said they now have a number of new lines of inquiry into the 19-year-old's death.

Caroline, who was originally from Newry, was living in Hanover Street with her boyfriend at the time of her disappearance.

Despite extensive searches surrounding her home, Caroline's body has never been found.

In 2001 the RUC excavated an area of land in the centre of Portadown during a renewed investigation to no avail.

Police have appealed for anyone with information about the disappearance to contact them.
