Murder bid arrest after fall from flat

A man has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder after a woman fell from a fourth floor flat in west Belfast.

The 32-year-old woman was taken to hospital with serious injuries to her chest and leg following the incident in the Springmeadow area on Tuesday morning.

Police said it was reported at around 4.50am.

A 26-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of attempted murder, assault on police and resisting police. He is assisting police with their inquiries.
