Mercedes stolen in creeper burglary

A car worth around £30,000 has been stolen following a creeper burglary near Newry, Co Down.

A house was broken into at Dromantine Road on Sunday shortly before 3pm and keys to the vehicle taken.
A gold Mercedes E220 was then driven off at high speed.
A police spokesperson said it is believed the stolen car was in a convoy with a gold coloured Astra car.
Investigating officers are appealing to anyone who observed either car in the local area on Sunday -or anyone who has information in relation to the whereabouts of the Mercedes car - to contact them.
