McGuinness' car attacked in Derry

Deputy First Minister Martin McGuinness' ministerial car has been vandalised in an attack outside his home in Londonderry.

Police said a vehicle was damaged in the Westland Terrace area in the early hours of Saturday.It is believed stones were thrown at it at 3.25am, breaking a window and denting the roof. Police have asked anyone who witnessed suspicious activity at around that time to contact them.CHAR(13) + CHAR(10) CHAR(13) + CHAR(10)Sinn Féin politician Mr McGuinness said he will not be deterred by the incident.He went on: "These type of attacks are pointless. I won't be deflected from carrying out my responsibilities and my work to build peace and reconciliation."
