Man's throat slashed in Portadown

A 32-year-old man has had his throat slashed in Portadown, Co Armagh.

A 43-year-old man was arrested in connection with the assault which occurred in the Portmore Street area on Friday at 9.30am.
He was later charged with grievous bodily harm with intent and is due to appear at Craigavon Magistrates' Court later this month.
The victim received hospital treatment for his wound.
