He was struck by a silver Subaru Impreza at Cromac Street just after 7pm on Friday and died later in hospital.

A 23-year-old man was arrested in suspicion of dangerous driving, causing grievous bodily harm.

Police are appealing for witnesses and would like to speak to the driver of an old-style Vauxhall Astra.

Investigations are continuing.
