Someone in the Antrim or Ballymena area could be in for an unexpected treat ahead of Valentine's Day, if they realise they have neglected to claim their lottery prize of over £100,000.

The winning ticket, with a prize of £116,304, was purchased for the National Lottery draw on 18 December 2013 in the Borough of Antrim or Ballymena.

It matched five numbers (2, 7, 25, 35, 40, 42) and the bonus ball (13).

The lucky ticket holder has until 16 June to come forward and claim their prize.

We have the champagne on ice and a dozen red roses at hand - as well as our fingers crossed that the lucky winner comes forward to claim their win.

"We're desperate to find this missing ticket-holder and unite them with their winnings," a National Lottery spokesperson said.

"This really could be the best way to celebrate Valentine's Day and show your partner how special they really are."

If the ticket hasn't been claimed before the deadline, the prize money and all the interest it generates will go to the National Lottery Good Causes.

Anyone who believes they have the winning ticket should call the National Lottery Line on 0845 910 0000 within the 180-day deadline.
