UK Border Agency officers disrupted the ceremony at the offices of Coleraine Borough Council on Friday.
Achala Udeshika Bandara Wijekoon Mudiyanselage, 24, appeared before the town's magistrates' court on Monday charged with seeking to obtain leave to remain in the UK by deception.
She was remanded in custody to re-appear at the same court via video link on Monday.
The 'groom' and two witnesses were released on bail to appear at Coleraine Magistrates' Court on Wednesday 19 December. A fifth man, arrested after the event, was released on police bail.
Earl Aiken, senior criminal investigator for the UK Border Agency, said: "The UK Border Agency is actively investigating reports on any alleged breaches of UK immigration law and we will take necessary action where we suspect a sham marriage."
