I've been flying with Flybe for quite a few years now but more recently (in the last year) they seem to be suffering regular delays due to technical problems! even had to bus us from Leeds to Manchester when we suffered a tech fault while on the runway.

I fly to to Glasgow once a month and they are great. I feel much much safer in a Turbo-prop than a jet anyway (closer to the ground for one thing and they can glide if need be). Rab stop watching too much sci-fi on TV.

It was obviously nothing major, a pilot who studied for years at a high cost did what was necessary and brought it down safely. I flew on one today and it was way smoother than an Airbus. No big deal and obviously it will be investigated to prevent a recurrence. Every part of a Q 400 is checked FIVE times...

Im sure these planes are as safe as any others, but I have noticed a number of 'incidents' with Flybe planes, rather than other airlines, over the last 3 years. I wonder if their maintenance is up to scratch?

My wife and i have used fly_be and these aircrafts a number of times to fly to glasgow with my son for operations. They are noisy and sometimes scare the life out of you as they shake and drop from the sky.I used to enjoy flying and now im a bit worried when boarding these aircraft.
