Suspicious objects discovered at the Upper Lisburn Road premises were found to be part of an "elaborate hoax", following examinations on Wednesday.

Roads in the area had to be closed and a number of people were moved from their homes.

The PSNI said: "Police would like to thank the local community for their understanding and cooperation during the operation."

Couldn't get a train home as the track runs along the side of the Lisburn Rd. Was sent across the road to get a bus. 400 people waiting for a bus that won't come because there's nothing getting down the Lisburn Road either. So I stood around in the rain stressing and having my day ruined...No chance, went for a few pints, had a lovely dinner in town then got a train home after 7 when it was all cleared up. If whoever did it is reading this ( if you can read ) I'm sorry to disappoint, because I know you were out for disruption, chaos and annoyance - but I got starters, main and drink. Cheers.
