Drug arrests in Belfast city centre

Three men have been arrested by police investigating suspect activity close to Belfast city centre.

Officers received a report of suspicious behaviour at premises in the Cromac Street area on Monday shortly after 12.20pm.

Police arrested the trio, aged 34, 37 and 41, on suspicion of possession of Class A drugs.

A quantity of suspected drugs was seized from the premises and has been taken away for further forensic examination.

All three men have been released on police bail pending further enquiries.
