Toccata Musical Productions have been together for several years combining singing talent with medical skills.
In their ranks are a number of doctors and nurses, who work to support Third World countries.
"The ethos behind the company is to take world class musical productions to different parts of the world and perform principally for charities," said Dr Sunil Paulraj.
"We've also developed a medical wing and the medical wing actually is involved in taking our doctors and medical equipment to third world countries.
"And we help patients get better care in these countries."
Their next trip is to Kenya when they will be joined by West End soloists and a 15 piece orchestra.
They will perform three large concerts with 100 children in an orphanage.
Away from the music, some of the choir will offer training for doctors.
Dr Sunil Paulraj continued: "We hope that these concerts raise awareness and bring about a kind of change among the people of Kenya and say look we can help ourselves as well.
"It's going to touch a lot of lives and it is going to touch our lives."
Excitement is building for the 10-day trip and the choir leaves for their African adventure on Wednesday.
