Body 'washes up' on NI beach

A man's body has washed up on a beach in Carnlough, Co Antrim.

Police and the coastguard attended the scene on Friday evening.
A volunteer team from Red Bay RNLI launched its inshore lifeboat at 4pm.
They helped recover the body not far from Glenarm.
Andrew McAlister, Red Bay RNLI Lifeboat Operations Manager said: 'We can confirm that the lifeboat crew recovered a body this afternoon.
"Red Bay RNLI would like to extend its sympathy with the family of the deceased."
Police said they are investigating the discovery.
