Twelve teens from Ardoyne and the Shankill spent 15 days in the township of Blanco.
During the visit they heard the stories of young prisoners and helped feed people in one of the country's poorest townships.
Now back home, the group have been telling UTV how the journey has changed their lives, saying they want to see their experiences bring hope to the communities they call home.
