The proprietors of Thompsons Garage in the Patterson's Place area were prosecuted for two breaches of the venue's entertainment licence.

The action was taken against Endless Music Ltd. Following an inspection last September.

They were fined £500 for failing to ensure numbers on each floor of the venue did not exceed those stipulated on the licence and a further £300 for failing to limit numbers in the smoking area to 50.

The company was also ordered to pay £69 in costs to Belfast City Council.
