A little dog has been caught on camera using perfect road safety skills to cross a busy Belfast street - even using a zebra crossing.

The pup was spotted trotting across the Falls Road in the west of the city, looking left and right along the way.

The moment was captured by a driver using a camera mounted on his dashboard.

In posting the short clip online, the YouTube user simply said: "Wee dog knows how to use a zebra crossing on its own.

"Crosses the road better than some humans!"

If the dog can cross between the Falls and the Shankill without having a fight, we could make it First Minister and see if it can do better.

I don't see this as a good thing. Yet another negligent owner that lets their dog roam the streets. Just as well the dog has learnt to look after itself with an owner who is absent.
