Arrests over drugs after car searched

Two men have been arrested after police stopped and searched a car in north Belfast and discovered suspected class A drugs.

The vehicle was stopped on Etna Drive on Saturday at around 3pm.

Cash was also seized by police during the search.

The men, 29 and 39, were arrested and interviewed by investigating officers.

They have since been released on police bail pending further enquiries.

Police are appealing for members of the public to report any suspicions about the use or distribution of illegal drugs to them.

I have called police on number of occasion give addresses names etc never acted on really what is the point in contacting police

Good to see the P.S.N.I doing a good job and getting the drugs and scum off our streets ,The people of north belfast want to see these people and there deadly drugs off the streets.
