Arrests made after Larne altercation

Three men have been hospitalised following an altercation in Larne involving five men on Saturday afternoon.

The fight happened in the Ferris Avenue area of the town just before 2pm.

Following the incident three males were taken to a nearby hospital for treatment to injuries which police described as "not life-threatening".

Police arrested two men, aged 22 and 26, on suspicion of criminal damage and assault occasioning actual bodily harm.

They have been released on conditional bail pending further enquiries.
