The body of Mr Kearney, 46, was found in a lake in Alexandra Park on Wednesday, 9 October a day after he'd been reported missing.

The father-of-four had been fatally shot while out walking his dogs. The alarm was raised when the animals returned home without him.

On Tuesday morning, police detained a 32-year-old man in the docks area of Belfast.

He was taken to Antrim police station for questioning before being released.
