Around 50 arrests at Eminem concert

Police in the Republic of Ireland made around 50 arrests as 80,000 people attended the Eminem concert at Slane Castle.

They said the totals were "very much in line" with previous events of this scale.
The majority of those detained were for minor drug offences. Around 22 people were arrested for public order incidents and one for driving under the influence.
Five assaults were reported at the concert on Saturday night.
Garda Superintendent Michael Devine thanked promoters MCD, the residents of Slane and the thousands of music fans who turned out to see the American rapper.
He added: "The vast majority of fans heeded the advice given in advance of the event which ensured everyone had a safe and enjoyable experience."
