Robbie Williams and Gary Barlow - divided by Rylan? (© Getty)
Flamboyant X Factor hopeful Rylan Clark continues to split the opinion of the judges and viewers alike, with some dismissing him as style over substance.
Having already stropped off the panel after losing his act Carolynne Poole in the first live sing-off against Rylan, Gary is becoming increasingly harsh in his criticism of the Essex lad.
"We have 10 very talented contestants here and, for every week you're here, one of them is going to be going home," he told Rylan after his 'Club Classics' performance on Saturday.
Rylan has tried to laugh it off, but appears to realise his vocal shortcomings - having tweeted: "All the others are absolutely amazing, wish I could sing like them."
But now it appears he's got some serious support on his side.
Team Rylan all the way. Vote Rylan. x
Robbie Williams
In a short and sweet blog on his website, Robbie Williams urged everyone to "Vote Rylan".
And when told about the development during the X Factor results show on Sunday, Gary wasn't best pleased.
"Twenty years of knowing each other and it's all over in five letters," he declared.
But fear not, Take That fans, we detected the hint of a sneaky smile on a face that's usually decidedly grumpy when it comes to anything Rylan related!
Rylan has previously played up to the feud with his nemesis, referring to him as "Gary Bore-low" and singing a little burst of a Take That song at that start of one of his performances.
"I reckon by the end of the series, me and Gary will be bessie mates. Move over, Robbie - I'm taking your place!" he joked.
But maybe Rylan and Robbie will be the bessie mates and it'll be Gary left out in the cold ...
The next live X Factor show will be Halloween-themed, with plenty of opportunities to impress - or give the judges nightmares!
