The Saturdays have assured fans they are not heading towards a split after announcing plans for a greatest hits tour.

The Saturdays deny split rumours

The girl group, Una Foden, Mollie King, Vanessa White, Rochelle Humes and Frankie Sandford, are heading out on a 12-date UK and Ireland trek in September in support of a compilation album of their biggest singles.

The announcement earlier this week sparked speculation they will split after the concerts, but the singers are adamant it is simply a celebration of their achievements so far.

When asked on TV show Lorraine whether they plan to break up, the band said in chorus, "No", before Sanford explained: "It's more like a massive milestone for us as a band, we've been together seven years, it's our 17th single and it just felt like a natural progression for us.

"For us it's more like a celebration."
