The Killers cover Teenage Kicks

Las Vegas indie rockers The Killers gave their Tennent's Vital gig in Belfast a distinctly local flavour, with their covers of Teenage Kicks by the Undertones and Van Morrison's Brown Eyed Girl.

The crowds were treated to a host of the band's biggest tracks, including Mr Brightside and Human.

But frontman Brandon Flowers also revealed their fondness for Northern Ireland.

"We love coming here," he told fans.

"We went to the Giant's Causeway yesterday and we had a ball.

"So we thought maybe we should play a song from a band around here - Stroke City's finest, here it goes ..."

That prompted the rendition of cult favourite Teenage Kicks.

Bastille and Belfast's own Go Wolf also took to the stage at Thursday night's event.

This Sunday will see DJ David Guetta headline the second night of T Vital.
