The choir gave a rendition of O Holy Night, to close Wednesday night's UTV Live with a touch of festive cheer.

Under the direction of Music teacher Mrs Nicola Kennedy, the choir is made up of 50 children from Years 6 and 7.

"Singing and performance is an important part of school life at St Conor's right from nursery," they said.

"Children can audition for the choir from Year 5 and the full school choir is made up of some 80 children from Years 5-7."

On Friday past, Ballyholme Primary became the first choir to take part in UTV Live this Christmas.

They were followed this week by Holy Rosary Primary School in south Belfast and Holy Family Primary and Nursery School in Derry.

Another two schools - Saints and Scholars Integrated Primary School and Irvinestown Primary School - will have their turn in the run-up to the holiday period.
