Emmerdale's Cameron is getting increasingly desperate. (© ITV)
On-the-run from prison, Cameron has already killed fellow bad-boy Carl King, farmhand Alex Moss and new mum Gennie Sharma, but he's not done yet.
He's on a, frankly unlikely, mission to get the woman he loves back and is hell-bent on finding Debbie Dingle and making his escape with her and daughter Sarah.
That's despite the fact it was Debbie who actually revealed his murderous exploits to the police.
Cameron is proving increasingly unhinged though and, when Debbie's cousin Marlon comes face-to-face with him, he fears for his life.
And well he should, as ruthless Cameron deals him a blow to the head with the shotgun, knocking him down the cellar stairs of the pub and leaving him unconscious.
Then, with his hostages trapped in the Woolie, it all comes down to a dramatic confrontation with not one but two former girlfriends.
While Debbie tries to reason with Cameron, it falls to her aunt Chas to go for the direct approach.
Hitting her former lover with a chair, she tries to take the shotgun from him - but, for one village resident - it's too late.
As Dominic Power who plays Cameron revealed, the victim is "someone you are immediately going to worry about and feel sorry for".
The scenes will be screened on UTV next week, with viewers set to be gripped to see if everyone makes it out of the siege alive.
