Chasing The Saturdays follows the lives of Mollie King, Frankie Sandford, Una Healy, Rochelle Wiseman and Vanessa White as they try to make it big across the pond.
"We were like, wow, we really are going to have to show everything - because we know what the Kardashians are like," the girls said of their series.
But, while the reality show may show both the highs and the lows, apparently there is a limit as to what will be captured on camera.
"I'm not taking one for the team!" pregnant Rochelle, who's married to JLS singer Marvin Humes, declared in response to jokes that she should give birth on the show - just like Kourtney Kardashian.
Rochelle will be the second of the five-piece girl band to become a mum, after Co Tipperary's Una Healy, who has an 11-month old baby girl with her rugby player husband Ben Foden.
And with Mollie King now the sole remaining singleton of the group, she insists she's happy to just keep "chasing the fairytale".
"That's Mollie in her whole life," her giggling bandmates declared.
"I don't like to settle for less," she admitted. "I think that I should wait for the right man and hopefully ... I mean, I've been waiting a while, trust me!"
The Saturdays also explained to Phillip and Holly how they're promoting cheeky challenges aimed at getting people involved in fundraising for Comic Relief.
"They hope to raise over a million pounds and it's really fun," Una said.
And of course it also allowed the girls, particularly Mollie, to embrace their competitiveness - something Phillip revealed she definitely had in common with his co-presenter Holly.
"I'm terrible," Holly laughed in agreement. "I didn't even know I had it in me until I met you!"
